D J Academy of Design (DJAD) is situated in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. Established in 2004, it affiliated with Alagappa University and accredited by other organisations. DJAD, Coimbatore offers 7 courses across 1 stream - Design offering 2 degrees like Bachelors of Design in Communication Design and Industrial Design and Masters of Design in Communication Design, Industrial Design, Furniture & Space Design, User Experience Design and in Service Design. DJAD, Coimbatore campus is spread over 21 acres of greenery offering the most serene location for growth & development. D J Academy of Design offers hostel facility to its students. Additional campus facilities such as Auditorium, Boys Hostel, Canteen, Computer Lab, Convocation Hall, Counselling services, Girls Hostel, Gymnasium, Mess and Library are also available providing a holistic environment to its students.
DJAD started with a joint certification programme with National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. DJAD is also a founder member of the Indian Design Institutes Alliance [IDIAI which has formed NEED (National Entrance Examination in Design)].
